Responsibilities

  1. Generate new business by Cold calling / follow-up of leads/referrals from business sources and clients
  2. Providing necessary information and advice to customers using Karooooo Kenya products or services
  3. Achieving sales targets on a monthly basis.
  4. Communicating courteously with customers through telephone, email, letter and face-to-face
  5. Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that might have been passed on by others
  6. Keeping accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers
  7. Analyzing statistics or other data to determine customer satisfaction with the Karooooo Kenya product and services.
  8. Providing written information as requested to customers, often involving the use of computer packages/software
  9. Learning about Karooooo Kenya’s products or services and keeping up to date with changes
  10. Keeping ahead of developments in customer service by reading company updates and release notes
  11. Calling on business sources and existing clients to build business relationships.
  12. Following up on new and existing clients to ensure that they are still happy with our product and service
  13. Resolving problems and queries of clients and business sources
  14. Do presentations to business sources and clients to explain Karooooo Kenya units.
  15. Undertake Marketing and promotion (increase brand awareness) activities.
  16. Attending to quality of leads / SLA and applications
  17. Reporting with respect to daily activities to the Manager / Supervisor
  18. Product training for business sources and clients
  19. Follow up on new and pending business
  20. Administration of commission payable to business sources
  21. Ensuring all the safety and environmental requirements are adhered to
  22. Perform any other business duty as may be assigned to you by your immediate supervisor

Requirements

  1. Prior experience in fleet tracking/ management company is preferred
  2. Sales target driven
  3. Drive new business development
  4. Solution orientated
  5. Strong Business Acumen with a focus on customer relations
  6. Ability to plan and organize with strong administrative skills
  7. High level of EQ with strong negotiation skills
  8. Applied Excel at Intermediate Level
  9. CRM applied experience
